Feeling Stressed? Why not try our 7/11 exercise?..


Sometimes when things get really tough we need to just take a minute to focus on the breath!

People have a habit of panicking when its not necessary so if you are feeling flustered or worried then take 2 minutes to calm down to rationalise yourself.  You can do this by sitting on a chair with your feet on the floor. The on the in breath, in your head count from up to 7. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.  Now, take your time, and on the outbreath, count up to 11. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. Repeat this a couple of times.

By taking longer on the exhale (outbreath) you are calming your breathing and emotions down, allowing you to think more clearly!
